Leave

Let's pretend that Julie gives birth right when she's due. After, she's planning on taking between 12 and 16 weeks off from work.

Let's say she takes 16. When that's up, it gives us just about precisely 12 weeks until my school year ends.

The Family Medical Leave Act states that an employee is entitled to take 12 weeks off, unpaid, in order to stay home with an infant.

See where I'm going with this?

We would then send our daughter to daycare at 10 months of age instead of 4.

Very interesting.

If you can do you should. Those early months are so precious. And fly by. Besides, you don't want someone else to see all the first and lie to you about them. They do that, tell it didn't happen when it did. I work in a infant room at a daycare center.

Dan is so darn smart to think of the perfect solution for daycare. He has been mulling over the daycare issue all summer, and came up with this. I'm sure he gets his intelligence from his Mom.
